About

Hey friends! I’m Stephanie, SAHM of three young kids and two fur babies. Let’s face it. Life as a mom isn’t perfect. In fact, most of the time, you’re running on empty, and have little to give, but you somehow manage. Staying at home with your kids can be so rewarding, but it can also get lonely not having other adults to converse with. Even if you do have the chance to talk to another adult, chances are it will be short and hard to really focus on the conversation over the rhythmic, “Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom!”  Plus, we often lose sight of who we are as a person.

After giving birth to my third child, I felt like I was in a mild depression.  I had all this love for my kids, but just didn’t have the joy I used to feel.  My energy was depleted and so was my motivation.  The hobbies I used to enjoy were “too much work”.  I lost myself.  Slowly, I started forming healthy habits, and actually scheduled time to start taking care of me.  With a lot of work and compassion, I finally feel whole again, and my family is stronger because of it.

We have so much more depth than being moms.  We just need to peel back all the layers in order to come back to our true selves so not only our children can benefit, but the world can too.
