Easter Basket Ideas

These cute little characters are perfect for Easter baskets considering they come in eggs!  You can take them out of the packaging and split them up amongst multiple kids or put “all your eggs in one basket”.  Either way, they’re a fun little surprise.  You just rub the little heart on each egg until it starts to crack, and then see which adorable animal you get. (We even use them for our DIY board game on my DIY page.)

My girls always want to wear makeup, but I’m not too fond of it.  I want to teach them that they are beautiful no matter what, and they don’t need it.  Something clear or with a gentle tint to use as a gloss or chapstick will do just the trick.

Reading is always a great way to spend time.  Not only are kids learning, but it can open up their imaginations and create bonds if you’re the one reading to them.  The Berenstain Bears books are classic, and I remember them fondly from my childhood.  It’s one of those things that I’d love to share with my children.

Combining another classic with pure fun, this coloring book has endless creative possibilities!

Cuteness overload here!!  This little chick, hatches, hops around, and even chirps like a real chick!  My kids love it!

Even if you buy these and only put a few in the kids’ baskets, you can save the rest for a rainy day!  I get sick of constantly blowing little bubbles for my kids to catch, and they always want me to be the one doing it.  These wands are so much easier because you just wave your arm around, and don’t feel like you are going to pass out! Haha!

What a fun game for all ages!  Requiring speed and focus, it can get frustrating, but is a blast!!  Hint: To even out skill level, we give the younger kids less cards.
