Tools/Equipment

A yoga mat is great for practicing comfortably on hard surfaces, and provides a little resistance to prevent slipping.

Having yoga blocks is SOOO helpful in your yoga practice.  They can be used to modify poses to adjust to your specific needs; especially if you aren’t super flexible (like myself), and I use mine ALL THE TIME.

Another great prop for Yoga is a bolster.  I use mine mostly for Yin or Restorative yoga, but it comes in handy even when meditating.

Made from eco-friendly latex, these bands last longer than those made of rubber.  They are perfect for strength training or stretching and are a great piece of exercise equipment to have because they travel easily!

Whether using this ball for birthing or for exercise, it’s a great way to improve stability, and even strengthen your core.  I use mine when I’m playing with the kids and don’t feel like sitting on the floor! 🙂

Providing the ultimate workout using this uneven surface to make you conquer your stability, this is another great piece to have in your workout arsenal.

Helping you to gain coordination, balance, and power, medicine balls are a great way to work your deepest muscles.

This is a great, compact full body workout piece to have when you aren’t able to go to the gym and want to do everything from home.

Clothing

These are my favorite pair of leggings that I own.  They are on the pricier side, but there’s occasionally a discount and they are buttery soft and perfect for yoga.

As a leader in the yoga industry, you can bet their clothing options are perfect for movement.

Depending on the mat, and your body, often you can start sliding in certain yoga poses.  Having gloves and socks that grip can really help.

Miscellaneous

There’s nothing like working out, and getting tangled in your earphone wire.  These wireless ear buds are perfect to avoid that scenario.

Having a simple dry erase board is a great way to write out your workout so you aren’t constantly opening up your phone to check to see which move comes next.
